ROLFING® STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION & Intraoral Massage
Rolfing® Structural Integration works on the connective tissues and nervous system to create positive, lasting change for clients. The process traditionally follows a sequence of ten unique sessions that build upon the previous and seeks to give the client new kinesthetic experiences every time. The Rolfer® works gradually deeper as the sessions progress, culminating in the 7th session (which is the session with the "deepest" level of work, tissue-wise), and then gradually withdraws during the final 3 sessions. Every session is tailored to the individual. Some of the general goals of the 10-Series are: improved posture, ease and efficiency of breath and movement, and an optimal use of gravity and momentum in everyday life. INTRAORAL MASSAGE are stand alone sessions which combine work to the external soft tissues of the shoulders, neck, scalp, face and jaw, as well as gloved work to the muscular and connective tissue structures inside the mouth.
